Underground Facility Protection Advisory Council (UFPAC)

The Underground Facility Protection Advisory Council was formed by HB365, which updated Montana Code Annotated 69-4-5. It consists of 11 members, with one (1) member each from:

  • Non-Public – Jurisdictional Pipeline
  • Public – Jurisdictional Pipeline
  • Public – Electric Distribution or Transmission
  • Rural Electric Cooperative
  • Telecommunications Provider – More than 50,000 subscribers
  • Telecommunications Provider – Less than 50,000 subscribers
  • Municipal Sewer or Water System
  • Local Government Water & Sewer District
  • Authority (as defined in 75-6-304)

and two (2) members representing excavators.
